Terms
I try not to have too many terms of use as I would like people to enjoy the graphics on the site, but please abide by the following. I reserve the right to remove memberships. The terms of use may change (but hopefully not too much).
Membership
- 1. Please do not share your membership details with anyone. The membership is personal and applies only to you.
- 2. Please complete your membership profile and provide a valid email address and the url of your site. If you have a membership area, please provide the url and a log-in to me so that I can check that graphics from the Twinkle Fairy are being used appropriately.
- 3. Please add a membership logo to your site and link it back to The Twinkle Fairy at http://www.thetwinklefairy.com, within 2 weeks of joining the site.
- 4. A lifetime membership applies to the lifetime of the site, not your own lifetime ;)
Trades
- 5. I will consider "like for like" trades with other pixel sites, especially if you appear on my wish list.
Outlines
- 6. You may use the outlines and colour them to create signature tags, web sets and graphics which can be for personal use or sold. Outlines and bases need to be coloured prior to use for linkware or purchaseware (tubing licence required).
- 7. You can only sell or share tubes from the outlines or bases, if you have a tubing licence.
- 8. A number of outlines and bases on the site have been created by other pixel artists and should not be altered or copied to form new outlines.
- 9. Outlines should not be shared with any groups e.g. yahoo, google or forums. Do not claim that the lineart is your own.
- 10. Please provide a link back to The Twinkle Fairy at http://www.thetwinklefairy.com, if you use the outlines.
Tubes
- 11. Tubes can be used to create signature tags, web graphics, stationery, blog bits, premades etc. However, if you use them for signature tags, please do not simply add a name or text to the tubes. You should create your graphics using a range of images - be creative!
- 12. No "As Is" use of the tubes is permitted and they should not be placed in membership areas, on websites or shared with others through groups or forums. Tubes should not be recoloured, chopped up or used to create outlines.
- 13. A tubing licence is valid for the term of membership to the site and beyond and allows you to tube any of the outlines or bases on the site and sell them for profit or create web graphics, signature tags. Please display your licence in the same place that you display your created tubes.
- 14. Tubing licences will only be granted to those who have live membership (i.e. if you are not a member of the site, you can not buy a tubing licence).
- 15. Tubes can be mirrored or flipped and eye colour may be changed. Otherwise tubes and bases should not be altered.
- 16. Bases need to be fully clothed before being used to create your own graphics.
- 17. Please provide a link back to The Twinkle Fairy at http://www.thetwinklefairy.com, if you use the tubes for your creations.
Signature tags
Tutorials
- 19. Tutorials on the site are the property of the Twinkle Fairy and should not be used on any other sites without prior permission.
- 20. I will consider the use of outlines from the site for tutorials at a later date.
Glitter fills
- 21. You may use the glitterfills to create your own glitter graphics , but please do not share the fills themselves (rather provide a link back to The Twinkle Fairy).
Fairy Graphics, linkware and graphics created from generators
- 22. You may use graphics on social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook, Bebo and blogs and websites but please do not remove the tag for the Twinkle Fairy. Please provide a link back to the Twinkle Fairy at http://www.thetwinklefairy.com. The generators provide code for you to use and this should not be changed.
